Korea Part 3.

Woke up Sunday morning. Walked to the grocery store. It was sweet. It had two floors. I was impressed. Plus I got some much needed razors. Then we went back to the house and watched Fairly Odd Parents, Korean style. It was the movie where they go to all the different channels. It was nice. Then I played some Webkinz. It was fun. Then the family of our exchange student we had about eight years ago came and took us to lunch. The dad is the Co-CEO of Samsung. No big. He drives a Porsche. It was sweet. So we get to this place for lunch and it's this really elite place. And at this point it's about 3:00. So we eat all this food and in Korea it's rude to not eat everything they give you. So I'm about to throw up from eating so much. The mom just keeps throwing food on my plate and telling me to eat. And finally all the food is gone. Thank the Lord. And then I'm like okay, let's go. And guess what mom says. "Time for the second course!" Uhhhhhhhh what? I almost just broke down and started crying. So I had to eat that. Then when I was done, I was praying to God there wasn't a third course. There wasn't. So then we went shopping and they bought us everything. It was splendid. They also bought me a nightgown. Not surprisingly, I rock it. So then they take us to the Seoul Tower. It's basically just a tower on a mountain that overlooks the city. It was sweet. After that it was about 7pm. Just a reminder that I had eaten enough that afternoon to last me a week. And at seven they were like, where do you want to go to dinner? Um. Where? Nowhere. Ever again. They were shocked that we weren't hungry. But they took us home. Fortunately.

Monday proved to be the first day of the my life. So you know the exchange student I previously mentioned? He is engaged to a girl named Haeley. Haeley's mom wanted to take us out for the day. She doesn't speak any English, so we had to have a translator with us all day. My dad joked that it would be a cute and young Asian boy. He wasn't joking. Helllllllllllllllllllo. Everything about this boy is perfect. His name is David. He is Korean, but grew up in Brazil where his parents are missionaries in the Amazon. He is 18 but is a sophomore in college because he is so smart. He is majoring in linguistics. He speaks Portuguese, English, Korean, Spanish, and German. He has one older sister who goes to school in Oklahoma. He is allergic to cucumber. He is my soulmate. And as fate would have it we got to sit next to each other in the car. Let's just say I never wanted the car ride to end. But it did. We went to a traditional Korean Folk Village. Solid stuff. Boring, but solid. Then we got back in the car (yay), and drove to get lunch. More stuffing my face and eating until I'm about to puke, yay! Then we got back in the car and I fell asleep. When I woke up I was leaning against lover. You think I would ruin that? No. I "went back to sleep" so I could lean on him some more. Eventually though, I decided to get up. Like five minutes after I did, he said good bye and jumped out of the car. Dave! What? No! Dave come back! Dave was gone for good and I was crushed.

We continued on to our destination, while I held back tears. Lil' Davey, I miss you. The lady we were staying with is an English teacher and we were going to her school. First we went to on of her classes and they asked us questions. There was an albino girl. It was sweet. One girl told my dad he looked like Hugh Grant. So after school ended a class had a party planned for us. I got to meet my penpal so that was cool. They did some dancing for us and I was impressed. Then they asked us questions and we asked them questions. We played some games and made some food. One of the girls told me to play my favorite music. So I turned on Cody. Naturally. It was great. But then Bruno Mars came on and I wanted to puke. So then we got pictures and said our goodbyes. It was sad. We took the train home and it took forever. But we made it. Woke up early Tuesday morning after hearing blood curling screams in the dark. Sounds good. So after crying about David a little (not really, lawlz), I went back to sleep. Woke up and Curt and Dad had another appointment to meet with Curtis' foster mom and look at his file. Meanwhile, the rest of were stuck back at the house, being forced to stuff our faces by grandma. She made us eat this nasty stuff. It was cut into squares and had the same consistancy of jello. It was gray and tasted like death. I was literally 30 seconds away from throwing up and I'm not even kidding. So after eating enough food to feed a small village, dad and Curt got back. We decided to go to some war memorial. Aka, something I wouldn't be interested in in a million years. Yay. So then we got on the wrong train and decided to alter our plans and go to a palace. On the way we stopped at pizza hut for some much needed American food. The Pizza Hut was actually nice. It was weird. And it tasted so good. Then we walked like 478 miles to the palace. Jack and I were talking in jibberish to mess with people's minds. We decided that if anyone asked we would tell them we were from Poland. So, just our luck the palace was closed. Thanks world. So this lady asked us to take her picture. She's an "NAA." Our code for Non-Asian Alert. We ask her where she's from. We want to tell her we are from Poland. But, surprise! She is from Poland! So the plan is crumbled. We decide to go to a market from there. Plan C I guess it was. On the way, dad accidentally stepped on my toes. Hello cracked toenails. Hello blood. Hello fun. So we walk to the market. Closed. Plan D time. Found a stream. At this point the boys are having fun with the fish in the stream while I have a headache and feel like I am going to throw up. So I am injuring myself a lot. So we played in this stream for a while then we got in the mood for ice cream. So we looked everywhere for some. Finally we asked someone where we could find some. The guy went completely out of his way and walked us to where ice cream was. Very nice fellow. We found a Baskin Robbins. It had two floors. I got mint chocolate chip. Delish. We then got back on the train and headed home. Went to bed. Stay fresh.
