50 Facts About Me.

Oh hey. So I'm at work. Just chilling. My internet won't work so I'm just typing this up now and I'll post it l8er. It's 12:21. we've had one customer so far. This police officer has been staring at me for a good 20 minutes now. So that's fun. I decided to write a blog about myself. So I am feeling 50 facts about me. Cause who wouldn't want that? So here goes.

1. I hate McDonalds. I haven't eaten there in 5 years, except for the occasional smoothie.
2. I have a weird obsession with school supplies. They're my weakness, and although I usually hate shopping, I could spend hours shopping for school supplies.
3. I've been in love with the same boy for 5 years. He doesn't feel the same. But I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.
4. I love bananas, but I hate anything banana flavored.
5. I absolutely hate when you have known a singer or a song for a long time, just you, and then it gets popular and everyone loves it. Because then it's not just yours anymore and it's just really annoying.
6. I almost always wear a pair of shorts under whatever I am wearing. Whether the result is two pairs of shorts, or jeans with shorts underneath, I rock it.
7. Kids love me, and I do not feel the same. At all.
8. When I was little, all I wanted to be was a drive thru girl at McDonald's. Now I want to be an ultrasound tech, and I also think a private investigator or a detective would be awesome.
9. My favorite sport in the summer Olympics is men's gymnastics. My favorite in the winter is luge.
10. My favorite subject is math, which is ironic because that is my worst subject in school.
11. I'm outgoing 95% of the time, but I do have days where I'm just really shy.
12. I love watching sports, mostly football and baseball. I also really enjoy hockey, even though I don't know anything about it.
13. I am and always will be in love with Cody Simpson. I consider myself to be one of his biggest fans.
14. I hate romance novels and stupid books about boring stuff. I like murder mystery books and scary books and books about crimes. No I'm not some creepy death freak. That stuff just intregues me and that's how I roll. Deal with it. Same with movies. I hate chick flicks and romantic movies. Horror films or boring films is my categorization of movies.
15. As soon as I start to like a baseball player, they start doing terribly and eventually disappear. Example. Paul Wilson. Jeff Conine. Corey Patterson. Tom Shearn. Chris Dickerson. Paul Janish. I currently like Devin Mesoraco and Mat Latos, so don't expect them to be around much longer.
16. I don't care what other people say about the Nati, I love it and I want to live here all my life.
17. Unless it is a close friend, I am able to talk to strangers better than people I know.
18. I once signed up for an audition for Disney Channel. We went camping that day and forgot all about it.
19. I call people sir and ma'am.
20. I'm neither a tom boy nor a girly girl. I have aspects of both in me, but definitely more so the tom boy.
21. I have three brothers. They are all adopted, one from the united states and two from south korea. I am the only biological child in my family. Which makes me jealous sometimes, because they all have this adoption bond or whatever.
22. I enjoy NASCAR. Judge me.
23. I pretty much either hate people or like people. There's not an in between or a "just okay" for me.
24. I haven't eaten pork in six years. Pigs are my favorite animal, and I feel very strongly against eating them. Same with fish, fish are cute little innocent dudes trying to chill in the water and I don't feel right eating them. I hate turkeys and chickens, so it is okay to eat them. I've tried to not eat beef but it's a struggle. Sorry cowz.
25. I am a cougar through and through. Younger boys are where it's at.
26. When I was in 8th grade I left church after communion with some friends. One of the priests who wasn't giving the mass was in the back, and he yelled at us and told us it wasn't fair to Jesus and made us go back in.
27. My turn ons: long hair, tattoos, beards, earrings, or blondes. A combination of any of these is not mandatory but is appreciated.
28. I have seen every episode of degrassi since the very first one in the 1970s.
29. My doctors and my family tell me I am overweight, but I just can't bring myself to try and change the way I look because I am completely happy and content with the way I am.
30. I am extremely close with my family, and we all tell each other just about everything.
31. I usually don't go a month without having some kind of ailment to my foot or toes.
32. Currently, the shows I watch in a week are Kardashians, Degrassi, Secret Life, Pretty Little Liars, Dance Moms, Teen Mom, and Awkward.
33. I hate when celebrities make songs about how you just have to be happy with life, life is good, or like I would love you even if I was homeless or broke or blah blah blah. Because no. You're never gonna be broke or homeless. And obvi you're happy with your life, you're rich and famous. I'm not saying money and fame is everything. I'm just saying they shouldn't sing about things that they can't even relate to.
34. I live for street parties. I literally love all of my neighbors and we are like a lil family. I look forward to street parties all year. I had to miss last years. Never again.
35. Gradeschool was the best 9 years of my life. As crappy as the school was, I made some wonderful friendships there that I will cherish always.
36. I had never played basketball until 8th grade. I ended up liking it, so I tried out for high-school the next year. I technically made the team, mostly because they didn't cut anyone. But then I quit.
37. I have been afraid of birds since I was about 3, when a family of robbins attacked me in my front yard. I've been attacked by birds at least 10 times since.
38. For college I plan on either going to XU or NKU. But who knows, plans change.
39. When I want to, I can be totally deep and am really good at giving advice.
40. I absolutely love rain and storms, and sitting on my porch during it.
41. I hate when people say "I don't care" when you ask them something. If you really don't care, it is okay, but when you actually care, just tell me. I'm not gonna be like offended by your choice or whatever. Stop being a baby.
42. I was in a Dora the Explorer play at the library in 6th or 7th grade. I played boots and I had my own song. It was awesome. We signed autographs afterwards for the kids and I was on top of the world.
43. I love the shows Good Luck Charlie, Ant Farm, Austin and Ally, and Victorious. And I'm not ashamed.
44. I miss Akon. Whatever happened to him?
45. My usual subway order is a six inch turkey on Italian, no cheese, with green peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, and mayo.
46. I hate dressing up and looking nice. I'm a sweatpants, tshirt, pony tail kind of girl.
47. I'm scared to death of Mary Poppins. I can't watch that movie without crying.
48. I blast my music in my car only when I am alone and only at night. Otherwise, it feels awkward.
49. I am all for the natural look. No tanning for me. No makeup for me. No hair dye for me. I don't even like straightening or blow drying my hair.
50. I love traveling and I've been to Arizona, Florida, California, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Canada, and Korea. I have technically been to Japan too, but just in an airport.

Alright! I hope you learned about me! It's 4:00 now and only one more hour of work. The cop is still staring at me. Stay fresh!

Korea Finale. Aww.

Woke up early. Previously mentioned future mother in law came to tale us to a water park. When I went down to the car, I saw mother in law and unknown Asian boy outside the car. Then, everything seemed to go in slow motion like a movie. Car door opens. I see a foot. Another foot. And then, right before my eyes appeared something beautiful. Something wonderful. David. Is this real life? He's back! He's back! Lil' Davey Boy! I love you! And the unknown Asian is his cousin from China. So overall, great life. So we are getting in the car, and cousin gets in the back seat. And Jack says, I get to sit in the back! We were both under the assumption that Dave was going to sit by his cousin in the back. (PS I just stopped blogging to go creep on David on fb. I miss him.) So I was upset. But then David tells Curt and Jack to get in the back. Do you know what that means? Me. David. Next to each other! Yayyyyyyyyyyy! Life is good. So David was sitting in the middle seat and I was on the side. After about 20 minutes, Davey fell asleep. But it was more than that. Davey. Leaning against me. His head. My shoulder. My heart. Beating fast. Our love. Growing stronger. We kept hitting red lights and traffic. I was sooooo happy for that. More bonding time. So we got to the water park. And our ex-exchange student's dad, the co-CEO of Samsung, wrote us a letter. Because the water park is owned by Samsung. So whenever we wanted something and to get in and stuff we just show them the letter. We've got connections. I had to go into the women's locker room alone. It was intimidating. I couldn't get my locker open so this lady had to help. It was embarr. Then it was time to say goodbye to David. We got pix and dad got one of me, Dave, and cousin. Soooo awk yet sooo great. Then Davey said goodbye. And my life ended. It was such a hard loss. But I pushed through it. They had an awesome wave pool and sweet slides. Plus what's better than cute Asians with abs? Pretty much nothing. So just an update. Four hours and 15 minutes until we land in DC. Man I just wanna be home. We are over Canada right now. It's sweet. And it was cool cause we changed time zones and so it was pitch black for like an hour but then it got bright out of nowhere. Alright where was I? We left the waterpark but Davey didn't come with. So we went back and ate dinner. It was delish. I went to bed early while everyone else went to the store. When I woke up, Curt was sleeping next to me, sleeptalking in Korean and using me as a pillow. Also sleeptalking in Korean was one of the girls we were staying with, who I guess decided to sleep in our room that night. She was sleeping on top of me. It was kinda rough. But that's okay, cause she's cute.

In the morning we went straight to the bus stop. The bus took us straight to the airport. Nothing really exciting happened there. Except I got a mouse shaped donut. That was fun. We got on the first flight after going through two security checks to Japan. The flight was about two hours and the airplane got smart and we all have individual tv's and can watch whatever we want. John Carter was an option. I declined. I watched Anchorman. Then in Japan we had to go through another security. It took forever. Our plane boarded at 3:05 but we didn't get to it until 3:45. Rough life. So this plane has been pretty boring. I'm just really wanting to be home. Three hours and 49 minutes until DC. Ugh. So far I have watched The Descendents, What's Your Number, Slumdog Millionare, The Vow, Friends, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Criminal Minds, and now I've hit rock bottom with A.N.T Farm. Loving it. I'm not evern ashamed. It's a great show. Imma go now. Stay tuned for more.

After A.N.T Farm, I hit up Austin and Ally. Mostly because I am in love with Austin. Then I watched the Devil Wears Prada. Classic. I forgot to tell you about Classy. This Classsy boy in a striped sweater who we first saw in a Korea, followed us to Japan, then to DC. It was kinda like a plaid situation. I lost Classy at customs, just like Plaid. And then we had to go through more security. Like, do they really think we got something illegal since the last flight? No. Oh well. More security. Meanwhile, I'm sitting here, feeling like I am gonna puke, staring at a cute boy across from me. He's reading a longboarding magazine. I guess he likes to longboard. Our flight is delayed 35 minutes. But those 35 minutes are aalmost up and our plane isn't here yet. I'm just glad this happened in DC rather than Korea or Japan. Could have been rough. Oh hey! New cute boy sitting across from me. Striped shirt. Black hair. Talking to a large African man. OMG I just went to the bathroom and found Classy on the way! Date me! But he took off his sweater so he's not as cute. But still great. It's 5:08, still no plane. Oh well. Plane is here! Yay! Let's board!

And that's all I got for you folks. I hope you enjoyed my trip to Korea, cause I know I did. Thanks for reading and stay fresh!

Korea Part 3.

Woke up Sunday morning. Walked to the grocery store. It was sweet. It had two floors. I was impressed. Plus I got some much needed razors. Then we went back to the house and watched Fairly Odd Parents, Korean style. It was the movie where they go to all the different channels. It was nice. Then I played some Webkinz. It was fun. Then the family of our exchange student we had about eight years ago came and took us to lunch. The dad is the Co-CEO of Samsung. No big. He drives a Porsche. It was sweet. So we get to this place for lunch and it's this really elite place. And at this point it's about 3:00. So we eat all this food and in Korea it's rude to not eat everything they give you. So I'm about to throw up from eating so much. The mom just keeps throwing food on my plate and telling me to eat. And finally all the food is gone. Thank the Lord. And then I'm like okay, let's go. And guess what mom says. "Time for the second course!" Uhhhhhhhh what? I almost just broke down and started crying. So I had to eat that. Then when I was done, I was praying to God there wasn't a third course. There wasn't. So then we went shopping and they bought us everything. It was splendid. They also bought me a nightgown. Not surprisingly, I rock it. So then they take us to the Seoul Tower. It's basically just a tower on a mountain that overlooks the city. It was sweet. After that it was about 7pm. Just a reminder that I had eaten enough that afternoon to last me a week. And at seven they were like, where do you want to go to dinner? Um. Where? Nowhere. Ever again. They were shocked that we weren't hungry. But they took us home. Fortunately.

Monday proved to be the first day of the my life. So you know the exchange student I previously mentioned? He is engaged to a girl named Haeley. Haeley's mom wanted to take us out for the day. She doesn't speak any English, so we had to have a translator with us all day. My dad joked that it would be a cute and young Asian boy. He wasn't joking. Helllllllllllllllllllo. Everything about this boy is perfect. His name is David. He is Korean, but grew up in Brazil where his parents are missionaries in the Amazon. He is 18 but is a sophomore in college because he is so smart. He is majoring in linguistics. He speaks Portuguese, English, Korean, Spanish, and German. He has one older sister who goes to school in Oklahoma. He is allergic to cucumber. He is my soulmate. And as fate would have it we got to sit next to each other in the car. Let's just say I never wanted the car ride to end. But it did. We went to a traditional Korean Folk Village. Solid stuff. Boring, but solid. Then we got back in the car (yay), and drove to get lunch. More stuffing my face and eating until I'm about to puke, yay! Then we got back in the car and I fell asleep. When I woke up I was leaning against lover. You think I would ruin that? No. I "went back to sleep" so I could lean on him some more. Eventually though, I decided to get up. Like five minutes after I did, he said good bye and jumped out of the car. Dave! What? No! Dave come back! Dave was gone for good and I was crushed.

We continued on to our destination, while I held back tears. Lil' Davey, I miss you. The lady we were staying with is an English teacher and we were going to her school. First we went to on of her classes and they asked us questions. There was an albino girl. It was sweet. One girl told my dad he looked like Hugh Grant. So after school ended a class had a party planned for us. I got to meet my penpal so that was cool. They did some dancing for us and I was impressed. Then they asked us questions and we asked them questions. We played some games and made some food. One of the girls told me to play my favorite music. So I turned on Cody. Naturally. It was great. But then Bruno Mars came on and I wanted to puke. So then we got pictures and said our goodbyes. It was sad. We took the train home and it took forever. But we made it. Woke up early Tuesday morning after hearing blood curling screams in the dark. Sounds good. So after crying about David a little (not really, lawlz), I went back to sleep. Woke up and Curt and Dad had another appointment to meet with Curtis' foster mom and look at his file. Meanwhile, the rest of were stuck back at the house, being forced to stuff our faces by grandma. She made us eat this nasty stuff. It was cut into squares and had the same consistancy of jello. It was gray and tasted like death. I was literally 30 seconds away from throwing up and I'm not even kidding. So after eating enough food to feed a small village, dad and Curt got back. We decided to go to some war memorial. Aka, something I wouldn't be interested in in a million years. Yay. So then we got on the wrong train and decided to alter our plans and go to a palace. On the way we stopped at pizza hut for some much needed American food. The Pizza Hut was actually nice. It was weird. And it tasted so good. Then we walked like 478 miles to the palace. Jack and I were talking in jibberish to mess with people's minds. We decided that if anyone asked we would tell them we were from Poland. So, just our luck the palace was closed. Thanks world. So this lady asked us to take her picture. She's an "NAA." Our code for Non-Asian Alert. We ask her where she's from. We want to tell her we are from Poland. But, surprise! She is from Poland! So the plan is crumbled. We decide to go to a market from there. Plan C I guess it was. On the way, dad accidentally stepped on my toes. Hello cracked toenails. Hello blood. Hello fun. So we walk to the market. Closed. Plan D time. Found a stream. At this point the boys are having fun with the fish in the stream while I have a headache and feel like I am going to throw up. So I am injuring myself a lot. So we played in this stream for a while then we got in the mood for ice cream. So we looked everywhere for some. Finally we asked someone where we could find some. The guy went completely out of his way and walked us to where ice cream was. Very nice fellow. We found a Baskin Robbins. It had two floors. I got mint chocolate chip. Delish. We then got back on the train and headed home. Went to bed. Stay fresh.
